John Greenwood Tribute Event in Daytona, FL. Nov 12-15

Sep
14

On a personal note I knew John Greenwood he was two stalls from my partner and my race car entry at our first IMSA race in Sebring Fl. This was our first Pro race and it taught us very quickly that we out classed by the other Corvettes entered especially John's car. As noted in the article his car was clocked at 236 MPH at Daytona. Our car would do about 175 MPH, so when he passed our car you had to make quick check of the instruments to make sure the car was still running. When he passed us it was kind of like standing on the side of the interstate and watching a car going by you at 60 MPH. John was the leader when it came to Corvette power. See website link below for details.
